Check out the video below and learn the basics about photos in Arrivedo!
The article cover image is the first image that appears on the live Neighborhood Guide feed and (along with the title) is what will ultimately compel a user to enter the article.
When it comes to selecting a cover photo, choose a vibrant, high-quality, well-composed image that accurately represents the overall theme of the article. To view a Neighborhood Guide with powerful cover photos, visit Lagos Avenida Hotel's guide by clicking here.
There are two options of how to upload the cover image:
- The default cover photo for each article is the first photo inserted into the article. Photos will look best as cover photos if they are high-resolution, landscape (horizontal) format and vibrant with good lighting.
- If you wish to insert an alternative cover photo so that you don’t use the first photo of your article, go to your article settings by clicking on the tool icon along the editor's top toolbar.
- Then click on “Add Cover Image” from the bottom options to choose a photo. Once you've uploaded the cover image, click "Update."
